This one-off weekend, is led by Classical Text expert, Lawrence Evans.

in the classical work of William Shakespeare. He regularly coaches
the top drama schools including Manchester School of Acting,
RADA and Drama Centre, has directed at the National Theatre and
his work has taken him across the world on international theatre

Over a series of exercises, Lawrence will take actors thorugh the
processes of de-mystifying the text and unearthing the tricks of the
trade. The two days will take actors of any experience through
the iambic and rhtyhms of the text, how these effect the characters
and focus on scenes and exerpts, reaching towards a performance
Experienced actors will have the chance to push themselves further and develop their craft, whereas those new to Shakespeare will develop their understanding and strengthen their confidence in making choices on the text.

Despite having an English degree under my belt I have never felt more inspired and in touch with Shakespeare than during Lawrences's classes. His enthusiasm, passion and encyclopaedic understanding made the texts more relatable and relevant to me than ever before, enabling a whole new layer of performance to emerge.
I cannot recommend his teaching highly enough.
